This is a snapshot of what young people are saying about their first impressions of their Talent Match Black Country experience. It offers an indication of how Talent Match Black Country is emerging from the young person’s perspective.

I am impressed with the Hub and the way it feels to come in here. I would be happy to just come here. It’s chilled. They know what people want. It’s good to be able to talk while we are playing on the PS4. There is no waiting around. I love coming here. I am glad that this place welcomes you. It’s all about having a place where you want to go, where you want to be.

They know what people want. It supports you. It understands you. The people listen to your points of view. They are there for you, they don’t have to be but they are. They don’t have to do but they do. . Here people treat you like humans, like adults. Really you should treat people the way you want to be treated.. Anything I need support with they have been there. With this place you are not alone. They give me respect. They take time to explain things. They are caring. . It’s supportive, helpful, and positive and the people are kind and friendly. I am encouraged and I like the banter. I am treated like an adult, like a person not like a child, like a human being and not like dirt.
